The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) seeks other than full and open competition and conduct a Base Year and one Option Year brand name sole source award for the purchase of Gas Chromatographic Flame Induction Detector to Agilent Technologies, Inc. 2850 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808-1610 is the manufacturer and has proprietary rights on the sale and distribution of its Gas Chromatographic FID 7890 Series G3440B. 

The place of performance is located at the US Government Publishing Office (GPO), 732 North Capitol Street, NW, Washington, DC 20401. 

 Under the authority of Citation: 41 U.S.C. 5(3) - Pursuant to Materials Management Acquisition Regulation (MMAR) Part 6.302-1(c) "Brand Name', sole source when only one source of supplies is available. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers.  A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.  Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.  All responses shall be sent to Contracting Officer Carol Parker at cparker@gpo.gov on or before July 22, 2016 no later than 12:00 noon, EST.
