The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) James J. Howard Lab., Highlands, NJ is seeking to purchase one (1) Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (GC-Triple Quad MS/MS) System with Negative Chemical Ionization (NCI) and Positive Chemical Ionization (PCI).

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is issued as an Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ package is attached and consists of SF1449, Specifications, Instructions to Quoters, FAR & CAR Clauses and Provisions.

This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. This is a firm fixed price requirement. The associated NAICS code is 334516 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. All offerors shall be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 to be considered responsive to this solicitation.
