The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 50507-005-3 for the provision to provide a Protestant Christian Spiritual Guide to lead religious services and congregate prayer, Protestant Christian Bible studies, and provide instruction in the core curriculum topics for inmates participating in the Bureau of Prisons Residential Life Connections Pre-Release Program at the Federal Medical Center Carswell located in Fort Worth, Texas. The contractor will provide sixteen (16) hours each week, not to exceed twenty (20) hours of religious instruction and counseling in conjunction with the core curriculum topics of the Residential Life Connections Program. The breakdown of hours will be determined locally based on programming needs. Consultations will be held with the Life Connections Program Chaplain as needed. A session is defined as one (1) four (4) hours per day. The contractor will be required to provide, once a month, an additional four (4) hour session during the evening and/or weekend. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The contract period will consist of one 12-month period and two (2) option years for renewal.
