SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a sources sought announcement only! This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as 8(a), HubZone, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran-owned business, and small business relative to NAICS 621610, size standard $14M. Responses will be used to determine appropriate acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7 VA Medical Centers in Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina are seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Home Medical Equipment (HME) services for the Medical Centers located in these three states. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, warehouse space, and supervision required to provide Home Medical Equipment (HME) services to beneficiaries of the VA Medical Centers. Service shall include the assembly, disassembly, delivery, pick up, cleaning, repairing and storage of Government-owned HME. The contractor shall provide onsite telephone and warehouse coverage during normal business hours. The intended contract is anticipated as one base year, with 4 option years.
