OWH establishes public/private partnerships to address critical women’s health issues nationwide. These partnerships pair the central office with regional public and private health organizations, universities and colleges, faith and community-based organizations to increase the effectiveness of services delivered to all women in the United States. The Department of Health and Human Services, Office on Women’s Health (OWH) has a requirement for community-based Lupus Education Awareness Programs. The successful contractors shall be responsible for developing and implementing four Lupus educational seminars based on the national model. Purchase orders will be awarded to organizations with experience in educating the public, women of color, and women living with Lupus. PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS NOT A GRANT. This requirement is being solicited and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611710, Educational Support Services, and the size standard is $6.5 million. The award will be a contract (i.e. purchase order). The Government anticipates making two awards but reserves the right to make up to three awards. The period of performance shall be for a 12 month period effective from the date of award.
