This is a pre-solicitation notice for potential contractors to provide all inclusive housekeeping and food services for a South Texas Veterans Health Care System, sixty-six (66)-bed domiciliary, located at Villa Serena, 4455 Horizon Hill, San Antonio, Texas 78229. This is a firm fixed price contract with one base year plus four (4) option years. The contractor shall have aseptic cleaning experience in a medical setting. Services shall be performed in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. Contractor shall be required to properly clean an estimated 33,000 square feet and provide three meals per day. This includes sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, burnishing, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, washing windows, high/low dusting, cleaning restrooms, washing walls, cleaning sinks, and removing trash. The Contractor's employees should be available Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm to include weekend hours. The NAICS code is 623220 with a business size standard of $6.5 million. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) .The solicitation issue due date will be on or about November 15, 2008.
