INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the FY2021 Microsurfacing Project will be received by the City of Clayton, Department of Public Works, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105, until 2:00 PM , on Friday December 18, 2020. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following, in City Hall Council Chamber, 2nd floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105. The Scope of Work consists of installing microsurfacing to existing pavement surface, including` Wydown Blvd. (Two Lifts @ 15 LBs/SY) and streets in the Claverach Park neighborhood (One lift @ 18 LBs/SY). Additional pay items will include pavement markings and traffic control. Other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Bid packages will be available November 24, 2020 for download by requesting the documents here. A prebid meeting will be held on December 8, 2020 at 9:00 AM in Council Chambers, 2nd floor, Clayton City Hall, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105. In the event City facilities are closed due to COVID an addendum may be issued through the link above to establish virtual meetings for the pre-bid and bid opening. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
