Description:

Military Sealift Command (MSC) - Norfolk has a requirement for an upcoming Regular Overhaul and Drydocking (ROH-DD) availability for the USNS Guadalupe (T-AO 200).  The anticipated period of performance is to commence on 8 June - 1 August 2015 (total 55-days). 

The USNS Guadalupe has a length of 677 ft., a Breadth of 97 ft., a draft of 35 ft., installed power of 16,000 hp per shaft, propulsion of two medium speed Colt-Pielstick PCA-2/2 10V-570 diesel engines, speed at 20 knots, and a tonnage at 31,200 deadweight tons.

Major work items associated with this availability include:  Major work items associated with this availability include work on:  Starboard Main Engine Clutch Coupling Overhaul, Port and Starboard Main Engine Barring Gear, PTO Groom, Annual GMDSS Recertification, Annual SVDR Rectification, Annual Radar ECDIS Maintenance, Annual certification on Magnetic Compass, and NAVIGAT X Gyro Systems Preventative Maintenance.
