This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This Sources Sought Synopsis is a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify potential Contractors with experience and qualifications for hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste (HTRW) remediation services. Responses should include a brief capability statement of no more than three pages indicating HTRW and FUSRAP environmental investigation, design, and remediation experience. The environmental investigation and remediation efforts will include but are not limited to remedial investigation, remedial design, and remedial action of low-level radioactive contaminated material including soil, water, air, and sediment matrices. Qualified contractors must have experience with laboratory data interpretation and reporting, the Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual (MARSSIM), and also indicate any management of Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contracts. The site groupings of the anticipated work are the St. Louis Downtown Site (SLDS), St. Louis Airport Site (SLAPS) Vicinity Properties (VPSs), the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant (IAAAP), and the Hiss/Latty Avenue Properties.
