The solicitation is for fundus photography services and associated tasks in or near Shiprock, New Mexico, Zuni, New Mexico, and Phoenix, Arizona for the National Institutes of Health. The requirement constitutes performing fundus photography on 155 Native Americans participating in an ongoing study for diabetes. This solicitation is unrestricted, using other than full and open competition. These services are determined to be commercial by nature for this type of service. It is anticipated that an award will be made to ACKCO, Inc.; however, a copy of the solicitation will be made available upon request. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the Central Contactor Registration (CCR). Alternate Offerors must submit a completed copy of the solicitation in order to be considered for award. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation to arrive at the best value in accordance with FAR Part 12 commercial practices.
