Our requirement is seeking a Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometer to conduct Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) measurements on a variety of materials. This instrument will be used to characterize constituent materials in pavement samples used in airfield damage repair as well as characterization of repellent and/or catalytic treatments applied to aircraft paints and textiles.
The spectrometer must meet the minimum following requirements:
• Ability to dock and communicate with Thermo Smart MIRacle® accessories
• At least 0.09 cm-1 spectral resolution
• One-touch sampling operation
• DLaTGS detector
• Liquid nitrogen-cooled MCT-A detector
• Ge-on-KBr on-axis beam splitter (7800-350 cm-1)
• Air purge system
• Data system (Pentium i5 or equivalent CPU, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD), keyboard, mouse, and monitor
• FTIR data acquisition and analysis software
• Infrared spectral libraries including but not limited to hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, esters, carboxylic acids, azo compounds, phosphorous containing compounds, dyes, and silanes
