The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific intends to make a sole source award to Young In Scientific Co., Ltd. for Fast Track Diagnostics Respiratory Pathogen 21 (Flyo) High Tubes to be used on existing Government-owned equipment at the 121st Community Support Hospital in Seoul, Korea. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which authorizes the government to award contracts when the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements.
