SCOPE OF WORK
The purpose of this project includes, but is not limited to, the construction or reconstruction for repairs consisting of, vegetation removal, excavation, embankment and subgrade construction, aggregate surfacing, seeding and mulching, culvert removal/installation, and new culvert installation. The Contractor shall assume all risk, loss, damage, or expense arising out of prosecution of the work, except as otherwise provided in the Contract. Contractor must verify that there are no utilities in the project site, before beginning excavation.

PROJECT LOCATION
The project work area is located east of Glacier, WA on FSR 3071 (Pinus Lake Rd, T39N-R8E-Sec 1), FSR 32 (Hannegan Rd, T40N-R9E-Sec 31), and FSR 3310 (Anderson Creek Rd, T39N-R8E-Sec 5). From Bellingham, WA, take State Hwy 542 east approximately 35 miles to the town of Glacier. From Glacier, take Hwy 542 east to the project site by travelling approximately: 7.4 miles to FSR 33 which connects to 3310 at MP2.00, 13.3 miles to FSR 32, and 13.5 miles to FSR 3071.

No Pre Bid Meeting will be held. Project quoters are advised to visit the project site prior to submitting a quote.

The Government's estimated for the road repair, for both Base and Option Items, is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is 100% set aside for Small Business.
A Payment Bonding will be required for any contract over $35,000.

The desired start of work is August 1st 2018.
