The contractors shall transfer video from a variety of tape-based formats (including but not limited to
Betacam, BetacamSP, U-Matic, HDCAM, and D2). When a program is available in more than one tape
format, transfer from the higher quality version. The program shall be captured in its native size and
resolution to an uncompressed digital Quicktime file and also provide an mpeg version, When the
videotape is closed captioned, the caption file shall be extracted and converted to a caption file for
delivery with the video files.
