The Bureau of Engraving & Printing is issuing a Sources Sought Notice to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), HUBZone, Women-Owned or Small Disadvantaged Businesses that can upgrade four (4) freight elevators at the Bureau of Engraving & Printing's Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This includes installing new machines, controllers and all associated mechanical and electrical components required to meet current codes.
This sources-sought / Request For Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request For Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire follow-on acquisitions. Responses should include a statement of capabilities and address how you will meet the government's needs according to the description in the above paragraph. Include 2-3 examples of projects that are of similar scope and size your company has completed. Also, provide the name, address, point of contact, Cage Code, DUNS Number, telephone number and size of business pursuant to the NAICS code 333921 for each project. Indicate all classes of business that fit your company i.e. Small Disadvantage, Veteran Owned etc. Limit responses to three (3) pages.
The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI, or otherwise pay for the information requested.
No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and Government use of such information.
