This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability and capability of small businesses, including 8(a) certified businesses, service-disabled veteran owned small businesses, HUB Zone small businesses, small disadvantaged business, veteran-owned small business, and women-owned small businesses continue to provide a storage facility within a 25-mile radius of Rockville, Maryland. The vendor shall house and maintain up to 17 Government supplied ultra-low temperature freezers, liquid nitrogen and a walk-in storage facility used to store biological materials. The freezers range in size from 18 to 20 cubic feet.

The facility shall be completely air-conditioned, provide an emergency electrical generator system, and a remote and central alarm security system. The system must have audible alarms that can be heard inside the facility by the Contractor's personnel. Each freezer shall be connected to an alarm system that when activated will also contact facility personnel by telephone. The central alarm system will be operational and monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and have the capability to operate in the event of failure to traditional landline telephone system. The central alarms shall monitor all freezers, communications systems, emergency generator service, fire and perimeter security systems. A weekly test and verification of the system shall be included in the Contractor's monthly report. See attachment.
