The Plumas National Forests, Beckwourth Ranger District intends to aquire service to contract 741 acres of the following components/treatments: Stand clearing/thinning, mechanical fuels reduction, snag and down wood management, old growth management, piling/burning of fuels, sub-soiling, treatment of stumps, and road maintenance. The contract will require removal of approx. 19,565 tons of sawtimber/non sawtimber material. This solicitation will be available for electronic download on or around July 15, 2009.
