Amendment #1, Full Solicitation added 4-18-2018

The USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest, located in Duluth Minnesota anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals for the Two Island Grade Improvements Project. Work involves producing, hauling and spreading crushed aggregate in addition to replacing culverts along approximately 8.6 miles of Forest Road 170 (The Grade) from Cook County 27 (Ball Club Road) to Cook County 4 (Caribou Trail). Optional bid items include crushing additional stockpiled material, placing additional crushed aggregate and additional culverts on FR 170.

The contractor(s) shall provide all expertise, labor, supervision, services, equipment, tools, supplies, and permits (when and if required), transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform hauling and spreading crushed aggregate in addition to replacing culverts along approximately 8.6 miles of Forest Road 170 (The Grade) with possible option items to include other associated minor activities.

Price range is between $500,000 and $650,000 with options.

NAICS: 237310, the size standard is $36.5 Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business.
