This project consists of street improvements on Fowler Avenue from Tollhouse Road to Herndon Avenue, approximately ±0.4mi. Construction shall include partial street reconstruction, grinding, paving, ADA concrete improvements, adjustment of existing sewer and storm drain manholes, water valves to finish grade, installation of new traffic signal loop detectors, new traffic signal cable and new loop amplifiers within the existing traffic signal controller cabinet, removal and replacement of existing traffic signal loops, existing traffic markings and signs to current MUTCD standards. Bids must be filed with the City Clerk at the Clovis Civic Center prior to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at which time the City Clerk will open said bids. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked: "Bid Proposal: CIP 16-08 Fowler Avenue Street Improvements - From Tollhouse Road to Herndon Avenue" The contractor shall schedule to begin work no later than September 25, 2017.
