PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland.
BACKGROUND: Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland is comprised of the Aberdeen Area (AA) Edgewood Area (EA), Churchville Test Area (CTA), Carroll Island (CI) and Graces Quarters (GQ) and covers approximately 72,000 acres of land and water. Traditionally APG's primary mission has involved the testing and development of weapons systems, munitions, vehicles, and a wide variety of military support materiel.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: The purpose of this sources sought is to identify Small Business Administration small business sources that can provide Forestry Support Services to US. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Grounds (USAGAPG). The work to be performed by the contractor will include the full range of Forestry Services. Forest Management Support at APG is comprised of two primary focus areas - forest resource compliance and forest resource management. Further detail is provide in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement. (Attachment). The contractor shall be able to pass all background requirements, support all technical, operational, safety, and security requirements.
ELIGIBILITY: The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 115310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.5. The Product Service Code is F999. While the primary purpose is to identify small business, businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement.
