NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD - SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT
The U.S. Forest Service intends to issue a sole source IDIQ type contract to CAE USA, Inc., 4908 Tampa West Blvd., Tampa, FL 33634. This contract shall include training for the Forest Service (FS) HC-130H program. The training classes include FS Initial, FS Differences - Long Course, FS Differences - Short Course and FS Recurrent training. All four courses are centered on the safe operation of the HC-130H aircraft. These courses prepare the student for safe operation by utilizing both a ground school and simulators to learn the systems of the aircraft and their safe operation.

The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 611512 Flight Training, Size Standard $27.5M.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the HC-130H training requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by 3:30pm MDT on May 16th, 2016. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to [email protected]. A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Please note that any prospective offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) @ www.sam.gov prior to award in accordance with FAR Subpart 4.11.
