The Forebay Reconstruction project includes demolition and removal of the existing 200-foot by 60-foot concrete forebay structure, construction of a new concrete forebay structure, installation of piping and slide gates for sluicing sediment from the structure, installation of slide gates for the canal diversion from the structure, and fabrication and installation of a new bar screen, installation of a new labyrinth weir, and installation of a new screen rake. The project also includes installation of railings and grating, and some electrical work for lighting and gate operations. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially completed by January 31, 2022.
