The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Contracting Division in support of the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center (NSRDEC) Operations and Outreach Directorate intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Computrition, Inc., located at 8521 Fallbrook Ave., Ste. 100, Canoga Park, CA 91304-3236, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The requirement is for renewal of Foodservice Operations Management (FOM) software. A sole source purchase has been justified because this specific software is the only nutrition software with the DoD Go for Green® coding criteria already built in, and is already in use by all military services, including the Government customer. Other software options have been tested and evaluated by the Government customer but none other than the Computrition FOM software are compatible with existing systems and can meet the Government's criteria.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 511210 and the size standard is $38,500,000.
