The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition for follow-on Genotype Analysis with Wisconsin National Primate Research Center. This is a follow-on service to support ongoing research project. The support services required is to ensure laboratory models/research efforts are consistent and produce reliable data. Overall goal is to discover vaccine to protect against viruses. This will be a firm fixed price contract in accordance with the statutory authority for this sole source requirement 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one source available, no substitutions possible, and replacement parts must be compatible with existing equipment. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offers must be submitted no later than 9AM.
