The Department of Agriculture has a requirement for the production of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) antigens and if required, finish the antigens into final vaccine. The Contractor will furnish all labor, material, travel, and supervision necessary to produce and finish FMD antigens. Sources requested will be from responsible offerors who are established in the business required. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated for the purpose of determining whether or not Domestic product sources are available. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
