Preparation, planting and maintenance of flowers and plant material in raised beds, boulevards and planters owned by the City of Toledo . Weeding, fertilizing and care of planter material required during growing season. Turn on of irrigation system may be required. List of plant material for each location must be provided as part of the bid. Bid should include separate line item for planting costs, maintenance costs irrigation turn on and off costs and a total cost per location listed. Maintenance cost should include how many visits are included in price quote. Bids for this project can be accepted via electronic or paper submittal. Bids prices shall be to two (2) decimal places (ie. $0.00). Only one (1) price per line item will be accepted with this bid. In order to be responsive, all bids must have the following with submittal • Goods & Services Project Paperwork* • Line Items • Bid Guaranty (bid bond or certified check / cashier’s check on a solvent bank) • Signed Contract by Vendor* • Child Support Affidavit* • Bureau of Worker’s Compensation Certificate • Certificate of Liability, naming the City of Toledo additionally insured • List of plant material for each location If e-bidding and using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be scanned and uploaded with your bid, in addition the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. No Company checks will be accepted.
