The purpose of this invitation to bid is to establish firm pricing for carpet, vinyl composition tile and resilient sheet flooring installation repairs and maintenance services as listed and described in this document. The awarded Bidder shall furnish all materials and labor required for complete installation. The awarded Bidder shall move all furniture (tables, desks, bookcases, etc.) except for permanent fixtures attached to the wall or floor. Bidders may be required to furnish other colors from the manufacturer’s standard color chart at their bid pricing. Installation shall include removal and disposal of existing floor covering, if necessary, to obtain proper installation. The District authorized representative(s) shall authorize removal and disposal of existing floor covering. Awarded bidder shall obtain approval from district authorized representative(s) when major repair or preparation is needed.
