Brattleboro Housing Authority (BHA) is requesting bid proposals from qualified Contractors to perform and manage all aspects of creation of 5 Acres of flood mitigation measures at Melrose Terrace in Brattleboro, Vermont. Work tasks will generally involve installation of detours/signs; installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls; establishment of construction site access; staking out of project features; clearing the site of select vegetation; installation of a large concrete box culvert; removal and relocation of water mains; removal and relocation of sewer mains; removal of building foundations and remaining utility services; removal of road sections, sidewalks, and site ammenities; modifications to drainage pipes; relocation of underground electric and communications; building road and sidewalk connections; excavation and haul of earthen fill; riprap; site grading; landscaping with native species; and site restoration.
