NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:
The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw AFB, SC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Open Roads Consulting, Inc. as a result of the hardware/software being proprietary. The only party authorized to move, upgrade, or add expansions is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The installation must be accomplished by OEM certified technicians.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 22 Sept 2011. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 15 Sep 2011 at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
