The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to issue solicitation No. N00167-17-R-0004, Flexible Infrastructure (FI) Ship Sets for Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Freedom Variant.  The requirement is for a Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, facilities and other items and services necessary to fabricate, test and deliver Flexible Infrastructure Ship sets for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Freedom Variant.  The NAICS code will be 332721, size standard is 500 employees.  The FSC code will be 3436.

The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP), with a performance period of three years.  The anticipated quantity of FI Ship Sets to be ordered is seven (7) ship sets during the contract period. 

It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about November 22, 2016.  Interested firms may view and/or download the solicitation and any amendments only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. It is the prospective Offeror's responsibility to monitor the FBO website for changes to this notice, announcements, or amendments to the solicitation.
