The Air Force is soliciting for proposals from qualified vendors for a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract, Flatwork Ironer, located at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan.
This requirement is a commercial acquisition using Commercial Acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12). The proposed contract will be awarded using full and open competition with a delivery date of 60 Days, through the Defense Distribution Warehouse at Tracy California. The government intends to make a FFP, Single award to the offeror that represents the best overall value, only considering price. Solicitation No. FA5270-14-Q-A019 is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333318. Quotes will be accepted when submitted via e-mail to [email protected] or when hand carried, quotes must be deposited in the bid depository located at 18 CONS/LGCA, Bldg. 99, Kadena AB, Okinawa. The closing date for receipt of offers will be 24 April 2014 10:00 AM Japanese Standard Time (JST). Anticipated award date will be on or around  May 9 2014.
Telephone or written request for the solicitation package will not be honored. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a Commercial and Governments Entity (CAGE) code, and must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) in order to be eligible for receipt of contract award.
