The Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound (MBRS) Division of the Library of Congress is conducting market research for a qualified vendor who is capable of providing annual routine maintenance on a total of thrity-one 16mm and 35mm motion picture film viewing flatbeds and motorized rewinders.  Please see the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for complete details.

This sources sought notice is being used to determine if sufficient interest and capability exists regarding a potential future solicitation. This notice is provided as information to the market place and is an invitation for potential offerors to express interest and provide information regarding their relevant capabilities. Information submitted in response to this notice may be used as a basis for a future solicitation and/or as a basis for more in-depth research of an organization's capability. The Motion Picture, Braodcasting and Recorded Sound (MBRS) Division anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract consisting of one base year and four option years.

Interested vendors are requested to submit Capability Statements which should provide a high level overview of their technical capability and capacity to fulfill the requirements as described in the draft SOW. Capability Statements must not exceed five double-spaced pages and should also include the following:

1) Company Name, DUNS Number, Address, Point of Contact, phone number and email address;
2) Corporate structure (corporation, LLC, sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability partnership, professional corporation, etc.);
3) References, including name, phone number and email address of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities identified in the responses;
4) Socioeconomic status, including whether the vendor is a woman owned, minority owned, blind or service disabled veteran owned; and
5) Resumes for key personnel that would work on the contract for individuals with knowledge and experience relevant to the requirement described in the draft Statement of Work (Resumes are not counted as part of the 5 page limit for capabilities statements).
