The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a limited source purchase order to either Solomon Engineering (SEI) or Aircraft Ducting Repair (ADR). Required items to be purchased are:

This procurement will be for the purchase of Flameholder Repair Service. This procurement will include scheduled repairs to the flameholder equipment at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. The only two companies that have been approved and certified by F100 Engineering at Tinker AFB, OK are SEI and ADR.  All flameholders that need repaired will be sent to the awardee.  All repairs will be completed and returned within 40 days of receipt for routine repairs and within 20 days of receipt for MICAP.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY:

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).  SEI and ADR are the only companies that have been approved for the repairs of the flameholder by F100 Engineering at Tinker AFB, OK.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 26 Apr 2017 at 4:30 P.M EST.
