Invitation: The City of Tucker is requesting qualified proposals for the FITZGERALD PARK FIELD IMPROVEMENTS project. Proposals will be reviewed by the City’s staff and will be awarded to the most qualified, responsive and responsible contractor whose proposal, conforming with all the material terms and conditions of the RFP, is the lowest in price. Work to Be Performed: The project consists of renovating two (2) existing sports field into one field for expanded usage at Fitzgerald Park located at 4877 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084. The work to be performed by the General Contractor consists of, but is not limited to, the following major items: 1. Demolition of existing parking lots, buildings, bleachers, and above and below ground utilities. 2. Heavy earthwork, and minor clearing and grubbing 3. Construction of parking lots, concrete flatwork, underground utilities, retaining walls, artificial turf playing field, restroom buildings, lighting, scoreboard, and fencing.
