Q: Are the hard drives required to be one piece, or can they be regular internal hard drives inserted into external enclosures? A: Yes, the hard drive mechanism is the same product as an internal hard drive. However, the drive must be in cases that are ruggedized and durable, have quad port interfaces, a positive on/off switch, and meet all the specifications published in FEDBIZOPPS solicitation HM1571-08-T-0018 to create an external storage device for NGA's use. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
