The bid period for the project will start on Monday, the 8th of January 2024, and will end with bids being received at the Gifford Apartments Tower Community Room, 2510 North Clarkson Street, Fremont, NE no later than 2:00pm on Friday the 26th of January 2024 , and will be promptly opened and read aloud. Project Description: Replacement of all roof systems across Gifford tower, including above main entry canopy, one story addition, main building roof, and penthouse roof. This also includes demolition/removal of any built up parapets, fascia/coping and related items, and building of new parapets with related items such as coping, fascia, gutters, downspouts. Electrical work includes lights replacement under the canopy and flag lighting directional spotlight, the addition of new can lights under the main entry canopy, under the rebuild parapet buildout soffit at the single story addition, power stub-outs for security cameras and related new spot lights at the sides of the main entry canopy, and one story addition. Replacement of FAA obstruction light at the penthouse. Other misc. work includes removal of existing penthouse access ladder and the addition of a new ladder w/ safety cage, replacement of door/frame/related hardware of door accessing the main roof from the penthouse.
