The Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) intends to award a sole source contract to the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation (Trust) to provide education and outreach services on behalf of the agency. The National Historic Preservation Act offers DAHP, as the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) the statutory authority to contract with the Trust, a qualified non-profit organization, to carry out these responsibilities
