Contractor will provide a stable supply of ferrets that are seronegative for influenza A and B viruses so that the Influenza Laboratories at CDC can produce and distribute strain specific serum for influenza diagnostic purposes, for testing of pandemic vaccine candidates and for antigenic characterization of currently circulating influenza strains including avian strains.  RFP 2011-N-13400 will be posted in FedBizOpps on or about June 10, 2011.  Full and open competition will be used in soliciting offers for this requirement.  This requirement is not set-aside for small business.  All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.  The scheduled solicitation due date will be approximately thirty (30) days after the posting of the solicitation.  The solicitation will be made available through the internet at Http://www.fedbizopps.gov.  Any amendments issued to the solicitation will also be made at the same website.
