FERRET POLYCLONAL ANTISERA The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates award of a contract to produce ferret polyclonal antisera against seasonal influenza viruses. The contractor would be required to provide all necessary animals, labor, materials, BSL-2 containment facilities, supplies and equipment; and, SOP for preparation of the antigen-adjuvant mixture before injection. Immunization would be by intranasal, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection of killed or live virus preparations of selected strains of Influenza A viruses (H5N1RG, H1N1 and H3N2) and Influenza B viruses, with or without adjuvant, as determined by the Government. Final deliverable would be frozen aliquots of ferret seum to the specified viral antigens, as specificed by the Government.
