FERRET POLYCLONAL ANTISERA
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates award of a contract to produce ferret polyclonal antisera against seasonal influenza viruses. The contractor would be required to provide all necessary animals, labor, materials, BSL-2 containment facilities, supplies and equipment; and, SOP for preparation of the antigen-adjuvant mixture before injection. Immunization would be by intranasal, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection of killed or live virus preparations of selected strains of Influenza A viruses (H5N1RG, H1N1 and H3N2) and Influenza B viruses, with or without adjuvant, as determined by the Government. Final deliverable would be frozen aliquots of ferret seum to the specified viral antigens, as specificed by the Government.

Please be sure to provide your organization's technical qualifications to perform this work; a description of facilities that would be utilized; and, information required to assess your organization's small business size status (i.e., average gross annual reqeipts for the preceding three fiscal years; and, number of employees).
