The Regional Health Contracting Office – Pacific, in support of Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to Ark Diagnostics, Inc. for the purchase of Ark Fentanyl II Assay Kits for TAMC, Hawaii.  Ark Diagnostics, Inc. is the sole provider of these Fentanyl II Assay Kits.  The award permitting this award without providing full and open competition is cited in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization).
