The Library of Congress intends to issue delivery orders against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew subscriptions with NewsBank, Inc. for the continued use and access of their database by the following FEDLINK members: AMPC and HLSA.  NewsBank is to provide full text and verbatim news releases from business journals, newspapers, and national and international wire services. Information is available on small and privately held companies and subsidiaries of larger organizations. Noticias En Espanol is a Spanish language CD‑ROM of selected full text articles with a special emphasis on news reports covering key issues and events in Latin America and South America. The CD‑ROM is updated monthly, and backfile years are on a seperate disc with annual updates. NewsFile, and NewsFile Collection contain full text articles from over 500 newspapers and other sources from around the world which provides unique perspectives on regional, national and international issues and events as  well as coverage of film and television, literature, the fine arts, architecture and the performing arts. Also available is the Washington Post(current and backfile) and USA TODAY(current and backfile) on CD. A comprehensive collection of United Nations documents(available on micro ‑fiche with CD index) covers the General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council, Secretariat, and the International Court of Justice. Science Source, a CD delivered resource, contains a comprehensive Current Science issues database covering over 225 sources in digest form.
