This announcement is for informational purposes only.  The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with a total small business for services under NAICS code 541511 to Chiliad Publishing, Inc., 44 Belchertown Road, Amherst, MA 01002-2641.  The FBI has a requirement for engineering services as described below.

The period of performance for this contract is 15 Sept 2008 through 14 Sept 2009, estimated award amount $1,910,000.  To our knowledge Chiliad Publishing, Inc. is the only organization that can provide the personnel with the working knowledge of the existing Chiliad federated query infrastructure, and perform the required installation, customization, and configuration services to continue expanding the infrastructure.  Chiliad Publishing, Inc. provides the key services:

 1.      Chiliad COTS tool installation of additional nodes

•2.    2.       Chiliad COTS tool configuration of additional nodes

•3.    3.       Chiliad COTS tool integration with existing nodes

•4.    4.       Data analysis and creation of Chiliad COTS tool ingest processes per data source.

•5.    5.       Data analysis and creation of Chiliad COTS tool data rendering templates per data source

•6.    6.     Chiliad system optimization and performance tuning
