Description: NSN 2540-01-074-8921 Armor, Supplemental is being bought in accordance with drawing number 19200 12287309. Based on Market research this item is being manufactured for military use only and it is not commercial; therefore, the Government will be using FAR Part 15 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested parties may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The required quantity of 144 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland PA 17070-5001. 100% option may be awarded 14 days prior to delivery of the 144ea. FOB Destination and inspection/acceptance Destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 12/2/10. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The option delivery will be 200 days from the time the option is awarded. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement of Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English Language and in US Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
