FDO SECURITY UPGRADES 2018
SPECIAL NOTICE: NOT A SOLICITATION. The U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Farmington District Office (FDO) intends to award this procurement to an 8(a) company named Southwest General Construction, Inc. The FDO requires the installation of a Duress Alarm System (DAS) for the main building and warehouse, two reception desk glass remodels and one emergency egress system to take place at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Farmington District Office. This site is designated as a Federal Security level II facility. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires Federal facilities designated as a Federal Security Level II to provide a means to secure entrance doors and to verify the identity of persons requesting access to the facility.
Southwest General Construction, Inc., will analyze the existing infrastructure, confirm measurements and furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for installation of the security enhancements listed above at the BLM Facility as shown on the drawings and as specified in this contract and as per DHS requirements. Work under this contract is located at the BLM, FDO 6251 College Blvd. Farmington, NM 87402
This is a non-competitive procurement and shall be awarded to Southwest General Construction, Inc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and the size standard is $15.00.
