THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This request is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes. This notice is not a confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the RFI, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(c), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is issued for information, market research and/or planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:
The 911th AW/MSG/PK contracting squadron is seeking vendors who are in the 3D printing line of business. Specifically, the 911th is seeking information from vendors that can provide a machine for smoothing FDM 3D printed parts. Any subsequent contract actions from this notice will be carried out under FAR Part 13 and as such will be reserved exclusively for small business concerns.    

All final responses should be submitted to the address below no later than 1400EST, 15 MAR 2018.

Proprietary information should be clearly marked. No classified documents shall be included in your response. Be advised all information submitted in response to this RFI becomes the property of the US Government (except properly marked proprietary information) and will not be returned.

Respondents must provide identifying/contact information:

a. Company Name and Address

b. Name, title, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address of point of contact.

c. CAGE Code and DUNS Number (if applicable).

d. Business type.

e. An inventory list of all response files/elements which allow the Government to determine that the complete response has been received.

f. If your company is not the manufacturer of the component(s) being described, please identify the manufacturer and identify your relationship with the manufacturer.
