Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, intends to award a sole source modification under existing contract N00253-14-D-0005 to Knudsen Systems Inc., for the integration of operating system upgrades into the Next Generation Fathometers (NGF). The firm fixed price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, with a base and four option periods, was solicited utilizing full and open competition and was awarded on 25 August 2014, for the manufacture, test, and delivery of NGF, Remote Digital Depth Displays, and Signal Simulators. The upgrade of the fathometer operating system is necessary to enable the fathometers to comply with information systems security requirements. A FFP contract modification will be issued.

The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 750 employees.
