The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Financial Accounting Foundation, 401 Merritt 7 Complex, Suite 5, Norwalk, Ct, 06851. The SEC requires a minimum of 158 print copies of the Financial Accounting Standards Board Codification delivered to numerous locations within the U.S. As the publication is updated during the year, the Contractor will send updated copies to the recipients. The period of performance is for one year.

The Financial Accounting Foundation has been the only source identified that can meet the SEC's requirement.

The SEC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b).

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of statements, proposals, or quotations. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation or additional information will be made available with regard to this sole source notice.
