This notice is posted as a courtesy for House Farm Workers!, a Ventura County nonprofit corporation. This is not a County of Ventura RFP. House Farm Workers!, a Ventura County nonprofit corporation, is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare and conduct a survey of conditions and needs of farmworkers living in Ventura County. This Request for Proposals (RFP) has two main components. The first component is to create a methodology for determining number of farmworkers in Ventura County; determine a statistically valid survey methodology; and develop survey instrument(s), training manuals, and a communications plan. The second component is the implementation of survey itself; compile the survey results into a report; and propose the scope of work for a consultant to use the survey results in the creation of a Farmworker Housing Study and Action Plan for the County of Ventura. Consultant(s) may be a single, multi-service firm or organization, or comprised of a lead consultant with sub-consultants. Additionally, proposals may be submitted for one, or both above-mentioned components. House Farm Workers! is partnering with the County of Ventura to direct and fund this Project.
