Western Connecticut State University is seeking bid proposals for all labor and materials required to replace the roof over the natatorium on the O’Neill Center on WCSU’s Westside Campus. Generally, the scope of work includes complete removal of the existing roof membrane and insulation down to the deck and associated flashing and trim and replacement with new insulation, roof membrane and associated flashing and trim as detailed. Please note: The CT Department of Labor’s Prevailing Wage Rates requirement shall apply to this project. All contractors are required to visit the site and verify existing conditions. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., beginning outside the Fairfield Hall Main Entrance, located at 179 White Street on WCSU’s Midtown Campus. Face masks and Social Distance rules will apply to all visitors and a maximum of two (2) representatives will only be allowed for each contractor to view the conditions.
