This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a request for quotation. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 and the small business size is $19,000,000.00. The National Institute of Allergy and infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a need for an annual maintenance agreement for four BD FacsCalibur Flow Cytometers with FacsScan, and two FacsCanto. The flow cytometer annual maintenance agreement must include, two preventive maintenance visits, unlimited telephone support, and onsite remedial repairs made by BD Biosciences Certified Technicians. Preventive maintenance kits, travel, labor and parts must be covered. FOB point shall be Destination, Bethesda, MD.
